Work time calculators
Practical, browser-based tools for work hours, pay estimates, durations, decimal time, and weekday counts.
Which calculator should you use?
Start with the information you already have. If you know clock-in and clock-out times, use Work Hours or Time Duration. If you are totaling several days, use Time Card, Weekly Hours, or Biweekly Time Card. If you already have a duration and only need another representation, use one of the decimal-time tools instead.
Business-day calculators answer a different kind of question: they move through calendar dates while applying Hourformula's Monday–Friday model. Some business-day tools also let you manually exclude known dates.
Everyday work time
Core work tools
Durations and formats
Hours and time
Calculate weekly totals, elapsed time, decimal hours, or a new clock time after adding or subtracting a duration.
Calendar arithmetic
Business and working days
Count weekdays in a range or move forward and backward by a number of business days. Month/year tools count Monday–Friday dates and do not automatically subtract holidays.
Calculator results are only as specific as the inputs
Hourformula keeps arithmetic assumptions visible instead of silently choosing external rules. Overtime thresholds and multipliers are editable inputs. Business-day exclusions are manual where supported. Month and year weekday totals are calendar counts, not promises about an employer's actual schedule.
If you want to see the reasoning before using a tool, browse the calculation guides or use a reference chart.
