Privacy
Hourformula is designed to keep routine calculations simple and to avoid collecting information that is not needed for the task.
Calculator inputs
Hourformula's core calculators are designed to process the values you enter in your browser. An account is not required to use the calculators.
Avoid entering confidential or sensitive information when a calculator only needs ordinary time, date, or rate values.
Site search
The Hourformula search tool runs in your browser against the site's own page index. When you submit a search, the search term can appear in the page URL as a q parameter and may remain in your browser history.
Because URLs can also be part of ordinary web request records, do not put sensitive personal information into site search.
Email and issue reports
Email contact contains the information you choose to send. The footer's Report an issue tool prepares a message in your email application with the current page URL, page title, and the issue text you enter. Nothing is sent by Hourformula merely by opening that tool.
Website delivery data
Like other websites, hosting and network infrastructure may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, requested path, user-agent information, and technical request data.
Analytics
Hourformula uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and measure page performance. The Cloudflare browser analytics beacon can report page views, device and browser characteristics, and performance measurements such as loading speed and layout stability. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies.
Cloudflare processes this analytics data under its own privacy practices. Hourformula uses aggregate information to evaluate the performance and usability of its calculators, guides, and navigation. Google Analytics 4 is no longer installed on Hourformula.
Hourformula does not currently represent an advertising service as enabled. If advertising or another service that materially changes data handling is added later, this privacy page should be reviewed again.
