Weekly Hours Calculator
Add daily hours and minutes for a full week, then see the total as hours, decimal hours, and minutes.
What the weekly total represents
Enter hours and minutes for each day. Hourformula converts each daily entry to minutes, adds the seven daily totals, then formats the week as hours and minutes, decimal hours, and total minutes.
weekly minutes = sum of each day’s hours × 60 + minutes
This is useful when you already know each day’s duration and do not need clock-in or clock-out times.
Worked example
Five 8-hour days and two blank days total 40 hours.
5 × 8 hr = 40 hr = 40.00 decimal hours = 2,400 minutes
If one day is 7 hr 30 min instead, keep the 30 minutes as minutes until the weekly sum is complete to avoid unnecessary rounding.
When to use another calculator
Use the Time Card Calculator when you have clock-in, clock-out, and break times. Use the Weekly Hours Calculator when the daily durations are already known.
