How to read this chart
Read the decimal column as base-10 hours: 30 minutes is 0.50, not 0.30.
What the decimal column means
Decimal hours express a duration as a base-10 number. The minute portion is divided by 60, so 15 minutes becomes 0.25 hour, 30 minutes becomes 0.50, and 45 minutes becomes 0.75.
decimal hours = whole hours + minutes ÷ 60
